We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have regarding your data.

Effective Date: August 1, 2026 •  Last Updated: August 1, 2026

Accolade Institute LLC ("Accolade Institute," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit our website, purchase our products, enroll in our courses, download our resources, register for our events, or otherwise interact with us.

This Policy applies to our website, online courses, eLearning programs, digital products, downloadable resources, webinars, live virtual events, workshops, certification programs, and related educational services. Please read it together with our Terms and Conditions and our Cookie Policy. By using our website or services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Who We Are (Data Controller)

Accolade Institute LLC is the controller responsible for your personal information as described in this Policy. You can contact us using the details in the “How to Contact Us” section at the end of this Policy. Where we appoint a representative or data protection contact for a particular region, we will identify them in that section or on request.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Policy covers personal information about visitors, customers, learners, event participants, subscribers, prospective customers, and business or organizational contacts. It does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, or services that we do not control, even if we link to them. Where we act as a service provider or processor for an enterprise client under a separate agreement, that agreement governs our handling of personal information for that engagement.

3. Information We Collect

We collect personal information in three main ways: information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information we receive from third parties.

Information You Provide to Us

  • Identity and contact information: name, email address, phone number, mailing address, organization, job title, and country or region.

  • Account and registration information: username, password, course enrollments, event registrations, and preferences.

  • Payment and billing information: billing name and address, and transaction details. Full payment card numbers are processed by our payment providers and are not stored by us.

  • Learning and participation information: course activity, progress, completions, assessment responses, certificates earned, questions, chat messages, and feedback.

  • Communications and submissions: messages you send us, survey responses, testimonials, support requests, and materials you upload or submit in connection with a course, program, or event.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and language settings.

  • Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, dates and times of access, and interactions with our content.

  • Cookies and similar technologies: as described in Section 9 and our Cookie Policy.

Information From Third Parties

  • Service providers and platforms: such as our payment processors, course and email platforms, and analytics providers.

  • Marketing and referral sources: such as event co-hosts, partners, or publicly available professional information, where permitted by law.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as health, race, religion, or biometric data) and ask that you not submit it to us unless specifically requested and lawful. Our services are intended for adults; see Section 12 regarding children.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to operate our business and provide our educational products and services, including to:

  • Process purchases, enrollments, registrations, and payments, and deliver products, courses, and events.

  • Create and manage your account and provide access to purchased content.

  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests and inquiries.

  • Issue certificates, badges, and completion records, and verify eligibility.

  • Send transactional and administrative communications, such as receipts, access details, and important notices.

  • Send marketing and educational communications where permitted, subject to your right to opt out.

  • Improve, personalize, and develop our products, content, frameworks, and services.

  • Maintain the security, integrity, and proper functioning of our website, platforms, and services.

  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations, and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

Where we use artificial intelligence or automation tools to support these activities, we do so consistent with this Policy and our Terms and Conditions, and we do not use such tools to make legally significant decisions about you without appropriate safeguards or, where required, human review.

5. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA, UK, and Similar Jurisdictions)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a jurisdiction with similar laws, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases to process your personal information:

  • Contract: to provide the products, courses, events, and services you request and to manage our relationship with you.

  • Consent: for certain marketing communications and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time.

  • Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, improve, and promote our business in ways that do not override your rights and freedoms.

  • Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws, including tax, accounting, and record-keeping requirements.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object as described in Section 8. Where we rely on consent, withdrawing it does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as described below:

  • Service providers and processors: companies that perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, website hosting, course and email delivery, analytics, and customer support, under agreements that require them to protect your information.

  • Payment processors: including Stripe and, for certain regions such as Colombia, Mercado Pago, which process payment information under their own privacy terms.

  • Business and legal transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, or as part of insolvency or similar proceedings.

  • Legal and safety reasons: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, protect our rights, or protect the safety of others.

  • With your direction or consent: such as when you ask us to share information or participate in a co-hosted event.

Some of these disclosures may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” under certain U.S. state privacy laws (for example, when analytics or advertising cookies are used). Where that is the case, we provide the opt-out rights described in Section 11.

7. International Data Transfers

Accolade Institute LLC is based in the United States, and we and our service providers may process personal information in the United States and other countries. If you are located outside the United States, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries whose data protection laws may differ from those of your country of residence.

Where required by law, we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers, which may include the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

You may request more information about these safeguards using the contact details below.

8. Your Privacy Rights (EEA, UK, and Similar Jurisdictions)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

  • Rectification: to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Erasure: to request deletion of your personal information in certain circumstances.

  • Restriction: to request that we limit our processing in certain circumstances.

  • Objection: to object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing.

  • Portability: to receive certain information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.

  • Withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, at any time.

  • Lodge a complaint: with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@accoladeinstitute.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request, and some rights may be subject to legal limitations.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate our website, remember your preferences, measure performance, and support marketing. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function, while others are optional, such as analytics and advertising cookies.

Where required by law, including for visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we request your consent before setting non-essential cookies and provide a cookie banner or settings tool that lets you accept, reject, or manage optional cookies. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Further detail is provided in our

Cookie Policy.

10. Marketing Communications

If you subscribe to our list, register for a resource, or provide your email through one of our forms, we may send you educational content, updates, announcements, and promotional communications. You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us at contact@accoladeinstitute.com. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send you transactional or administrative messages related to your purchases, account, or events.

11. U.S. State Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have rights to know or access the personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of minors.

To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@accoladeinstitute.com or use any opt-out mechanism provided on our website, such as cookie settings. We will verify your request as required by law, and you may use an authorized agent where permitted.

12. Children’s Privacy

Our website, products, and services are intended for adults aged 18 and older and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our products and services, maintain your account and access, comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When personal information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.

Typical retention drivers include the length of your customer relationship, course or certificate records, financial and tax records (which may be retained for several years), and applicable statutory limitation periods.

14. How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These may include access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, vendor due diligence, and limiting access to those who need it. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website and services may link to or integrate with third-party platforms, including payment processors, course and email platforms, webinar tools, and analytics providers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies, which govern your use of their services.

16. Automated Processing and Artificial Intelligence

We may use automated tools and artificial intelligence to support activities such as content development, analytics, personalization, and customer support. We do not use these tools to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without appropriate safeguards or, where required by law, human involvement and a right to contest the decision.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page with a revised effective date, and, where required by law or where changes are material, we will provide additional notice such as email notification. Your continued use of our website or services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
